Marking Tenant/Lease Current

 
When you initially access the Lease tab, the following notice will appear at the top of the screen:
 
 
When you add a tenant to the property, you must mark them as current in order to make them active on the property and remove this alert.  The same holds true with the lease information.  However, you can decide whether you want to activate this informtion at the time of entry or come back and make it current at a later time.
 
 
 
To Mark a Tenant Current
 
1. From the desired property, select the Lease sub tab at left. All tenants that have previously been entered will display in their own bar.  If the tenant has already been marked current, their name will display in a red bar as shown:
 
 
 
If the tenant is not yet current, they will appear in a colored bar (the color will depend on the color scheme you are using on your Broker Brain website):
 
 
2. Click the + adjacent to the tenant name to view the tenant information.
 
3. If needed, click the Tenant sub tab, shown circled below.
 
 
 
4. Click the green Mark Current button at the bottom of the screen.
 
Note: If you have not yet marked your lease information current, the No Tenant alert will be replaced with a No Lease alert:
 
You will now need to mark your lease information as current.
 
 
 
 
To Mark a Lease Current
 
Note: If you already have the tenant information open, move on to step #3.
 
1. From the desired property, select the Lease sub tab at left. All tenants that have previously been entered will display in their own bar:
 
 
 
 
2. Click the + adjacent to the tenant name to view the tenant information.
 
3. Click the Leases sub tab, shown circled below.
 
 
 
4. Click the green Mark Complete button at the bottom of the screen.
