Your site is created with default settings including the name of the site and the site logo. This information, as well as several other settings, can be changed from the Site Settings tab. Changing Site Settings 1. Click on the Site Settings tab on the left hand side of the screen. Below is a screenshot of what will appear followed by an explanation of the fields displayed. ![]() HTML Head Title - This information appears in the upper left hand corner of your internet browser Title Bar Site Title - This title appears on your browser screen. Site Sub Title - This information appears directly below your Site Title Language - It is recommended that you do not change the Language field Site Template - This field determines the theme of your site. You will have access to more templates as they become available. Current Site Logo: logo.png - You can replace the Broker Brain logo with your company logo or another picture by changing the information in this field. Time Zone - You can change the time zone for your location as well as confirm the correct time from this field. This is used for the time stamps of notes, status changes, etc. Text Mode - Options in this field include Plain Text and HTML. Choosing HTML will allow for more formatting options in the emails sent from within Broker Brain as well as in the Notes that you create Cross Streets Filter - This field allows you to determine how cross streets should be entered into this system. The default filter allows for street x street to be entered. If you would like to enter cross streets into the system in a different way, send an email describing how you would like cross streets to be entered to support@brokerbrain.net. We will send you a new filter that you can place in this field. Google API Key - It is recommended that you do not change this field. Maximum number of properties allowed to display as a result of a search on public portal (0- no limit) - As indicated, this field allows you to adjust the maximum number of properties displayed on your public website following a search. Message if query is over limit on public portal - You can change the message that appears on your public website when a query returns more than the maximum allowed. Message to display at top of search results in public portal - This allows you to change the message that appears on the top of your search results on your public website. Message to display at bottom of search results in public portal - This allows you to change the message that appears at the bottom of your search results on your public website. No Market selector on public search page - If this box is checked, property searches made from your public website will not include the option to narrow the search by Market. All searches will be based on your entire public inventory. Leaving this box unchecked will provide the public user the option to choose the market in which they want to search. Remove site header from public site - If this box is checked the company header information will be gone, allowing you to imbed public web site info into another web page. Restrict property access by agents – If this box is checked, access to individual properties will be restricted to the Agent that is assigned to that property or who is assigned to that agent’s group. In addition, users who are set up as Property Agents Power Users or Property Assign Agents Power Users will be able to access all properties. Properties that are not assigned to an Agent will continue to display for all users. Restrict auto tasks by agents - Contact support for more information and to set this up. Globally allow Public Offers - Choosing this option makes it possible for offers to be submitted from a public website into your Broker Brain system. If this is the only box checked in this section, you control who can make a public offer by providing a link for a given property to a website such as the MLS website. Only those with access to that website will be able to submit a public offer into your Broker Brain System. Allow public offers from your public site - This option can only be chosen if the Globally allow Public Offers option has also been chosen. This allows offers to be submitted directly from your public Broker Brain site on properties that are in a Public Offer property status and have been enabled for Public Offers. Auto enable public offers on properties when entering an Offer status - This option can only be chosen if the Globally allow Public Offers option is also chosen. Choosing this option automatically opens a property for public offer submission when it moves into a status you have set as a Pulic Offer Status. Enable all properties currently in an Offer status - By clicking on this link, you will enable all properties that are currently in an offer status to allow public offers. For instance, If you have recently decided that you want all of your properties that are in Listed status to be eligible for a public offer, you would check the Public Offer box next to the Listed status in your Property Status Tab on the Admin page. However, the system will not automatically enable all properties that are already in Listed status. If you click on this link in the Site Settings page it will be done for you. (If you choose to allow offers to be submitted from your public Broker Brain site, you will also need to check the Public box next to the desired statuses) Offer Agreement - This free form box allows you to customize the Offer Agreement for your properties. The offering agent must agree to these terms before being allowed to submit an offer. This should be completed in such a way that it would apply to all of your properties. Agent Public Info Password - If you want outside agents to be able to see combo box information for your properties on your public website, complete this field with a password of your choosing. Provide that password to agents who you wish to have this access. When they access a property from your public website they will see the following screen: ![]() Once they click on the area indicated, another screen will appear asking for the password that you provided. After the correct password is provided, the combo box information will appear in the same area circled in red above. It will provide the status of the combo box, it's code, and it's location. If you leave this section of the Site Settings blank, the Agent Info section will not appear at all on your public website. Globally Disable Auto Tasks - By checking this box you will disable the assignment of Auto Tasks. You will likely want to do this during system roll out, when you are importing properties. Be sure to uncheck this to enable Auto Tasks after you have imported all of your properties. Set Property Status to the following when an offer is accepted - This function sets the default property status when an offer is accepted on the property Set Property Status to the following when an accepted offer is withdrawn - this function sets the default property status when an accepted offer has been withdrawn. Set property status to listed when MLS number is entered - When this option is choosen, any property for which an MLS number is entered will automatically be set to listed status. You will be prompted each time you enter an MLS number into a property to confirm this option. 2. Once you have made your desired changes click Submit. |
